I am a fully UK-trained consultant vascular& endovascular surgeon.
Following graduation from the faculty of medicine at University of Jordan in 2001,
I pursued surgical training in the United Kingdom. I obtained the Certificate of Completion
Of Basic Surgical Training (CCBST) and the membership of royal Collage of
Surgeons of England (MRCS Eng.) in 2005. Subsequently, I gained competitive entry
Into higher surgical training at the London deanery. during my time as a higher surgical
Trainee in London, I underwent training in respected recognized regional and international
Institutions offering high volume and quality training in vascular surgery. At the same
Time, I obtained the fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) AND THE
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and the fellowship of the European Board
Of Vascular Surgery (FEBVS). I have also obtained additional endovascular training and
Training in advanced vascular access and renal transplantation and awarded a further
Higher degree in research.
Recognizing the important of research and academia in vascular surgery, I dedicated
two years as research fellow at St George s University of London. During that time, I was
awarded the prestigious joint Royal College of Surgeons of England & Dunhill Medical
Trust Research Fellowship. I was also a warded a higher degree, MD Res, from the
Training and educational activities, I am enrolled in a postgraduate degree program in
Medical education at University College London
I have been recently recruited by the University of Jordan to up a modern vascular
Service at the Jordan university Hospital. During my short time the University of Jordan
I have established and advanced peripheral endovascular intervention program. this
Has resulted in significant improvements in limb salvage rates. I have also established the
Aortic program and performed Jordan University Hospital First Thoracic
Endovascular Aneurysm repair (TEVAR) for aortic dissection and a number of emergency aortic endovascular intervention.
